Privacy notice

Live Leaderboard is run by Aaron Hodkin, trading as Desirable Golfer, a sole trader in the United Kingdom (the data controller). This page explains what we hold and why, in plain English. Last updated 30 September 2026. Our terms of service cover plans, payments and cancelling.

What we hold

• Competition boards. Player names, clubs, handicap details and scores entered for an event, plus contact details (email, phone) given by a player or organiser for codes and registration. Contact details are visible only to the event's organiser.
• Organiser accounts. Your email address and the organisations and boards you belong to.
• My golf accounts. Your email address, profile (name, club, handicap index, tee, benchmark level), the rounds you log including scores, stat taps and shot-by-shot data, courses you add, your practice plan, and which competition cards you have linked.
• Payments. When entry fees or subscriptions are paid by card, the card is handled by Stripe. We keep the payment status and reference, never card numbers.

Why

• To run the leaderboard, prize giving and reports for the event you are playing in.
• To show you your own rounds, stats and season in My golf.
• To let organisers approve entries, send codes and take payment.

Who can see it

• Scores on a competition board are public to anyone with the board's link, as they would be on a clubhouse board.
• Your My golf rounds and profile are private to you. We can view them to support you and to improve the service; we do not share them with other players, clubs or third parties.
• Organisers see the entries, contact details and payments for their own boards only.
• We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Stripe (payments) to run the service. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider.

Your choices

• You can edit your profile and delete any round at any time.
• You can delete your My golf account from your profile page: your profile, rounds and linked cards are removed. Scores on competition boards remain, as they are the event's record.
• Ask us to export your data or for anything else at hello@liveleaderboard.co.uk.

Keeping it

Competition boards are kept until the organiser deletes them. My golf data is kept while your account exists. Sign-in sessions last 30 days on a device.
